23km Nordic Walking Otepaa-Elva, Estonia. Imants was the first in men competition (2:44:33), Ilze – the first in women competition (2:46:47) and the second in overall competition. 241 Nordic walker have finished the distance in total.

It is great that more and more folks take Nordic Walking seriously. Position 99 (Zane Lace from Latvia) has result only about 40 minutes behind Imants. 11 walkers from Latvia finished the race. 4th position for me, 16th for Benita. Others have performed good as well taking positions 34 (Inese), Linda (56), Oleg (57), Andis (83), Zane (99), Liena (104) and Laura (106). Congratulations to everybody!!
Weather forecasts promised the rain and where wrong 🙂 It was perfect weather for Nordic Walking – not hot with a light wind and no rain. The organisation was perfect and the route the same we already knew from the previous years – the first four km by the paved road followed by uphills/downhills through the fields and forests. Everything blooming and flourishing around 🙂
